Rosemary Turkey slow cooker dog food
5 lb of ground turkey
1/2 lb of chopped beef tongue
1 1/2 cup of green beans
1 can of corn
1 can of puréed pumpkin
1 cup of brown rice
2 Tablespoons of coconut oil
2 tablespoons of wheat germ
2 eggs with shell
2 cups of water
1 packet of low sodium chicken bouillon
4 sprigs of of Fresh Rosemary
Place the pumpkin, corn, green beans, and rice at the bottom of the slow cooker.
Crack the eggs and layer on top, and grind shell or chop with a knife and sprinkle over the eggs with the wheat germ and chicken bouillon. Pour in water, and coconut oil. Crumble in ground turkey, and add chopped tongue. Remove rosemary leaves from stem and sprinkle over the top. Stir all the ingredients up until well mixed.
Turn the slow cooker on low and cook for 8 hours, stirring occasionally.
Follow chart below for daily serving size. Make sure to serve this cooled down. Cut portion in half if you feed a dry kibble for added nutrients each day.
I give Marlin 1 cup of dry kibble in the morning, and 1 cup of homemade food at night for dinner.
