2020 has been a year...
Forest Fires started the year off in Australia with painful images of koala bears suffering, along with other national treasured animals in the Aussie wilderness. The Covid-19 pandemic that seemed so far away, yet quickly traveled the globe, with devastating effects on loved ones who have fallen victim to this novel virus, dying alone. This new world we live in that we must adjust to with hand sanitizer, masks, and social distancing. Job losses by the masses, higher food prices, shortages of needed resources. I lost my job in April 2020, and spent the next several months recovering from the burnout, focusing on self care, and making the most out of what I do have on hand, rather than buy what I don't need. I started my organic garden this year with time to really focus on it without letting the plants die, clean my house with organic cleaners that don't irritate my asthma, walking my dog daily, and cooking everyday healthy meals from scratch.
Now is the time that we have to be thrifty, and reduce waste. Focus on self care, and being gentle to ourselves. The earth and its natural beauty when left alone can rejuvenate the soul. Now is the time to focus on living life with deliberate and meaningful purpose, and I want you to join me on this journey. Let's make it our journey.
